Timber is my newest product, freshly launched at Creative Market. I've picked some of my favorite rings and packaged them up for you in a single .EPS file and a .PSD with smart objects for Photoshop users. Also, it comes with a metallic foil texture you can use as a layer mask or swatch!
I'm back from the dead! Earlier this year I had my first artists' alley experience at a nearby fan convention. I prepped for months, creating new pieces of art specifically for the convention, making new products, and generally trying to keep it together until then. It was a great first experience, and I have some definite take-aways!
I'm as much a sucker for art supplies as I am for office supplies. I don't know what it is about new brushes, pencils, and pens but I just love them. I don't think you necessarily have to get the most expensive to produce good art (but it can help, depending on what it is). Here's a few of my favorite and most frequently used art making items!
Whenever December rolls around, I get a burst of motivation. A new year and a fresh start is right around the corner! I tend to look ahead more than look back during this time, and start making goal lists and plans for what I'd like to do in the new year.
Inktober is a popular artist challenge that takes place during the month of October. It's free to participate in, and you can follow along on Instagram or Twitter at @inktober, #inktober, or #inktober2017, to name a few hashtags and accounts. The intent is to build good drawing habits and to become more proficient with ink (no easy task, for me at least).
